One industrious law grad in his final year at the Tulane University School of Law set his sights on getting a job paying at least $70,000 a year and came up with a novel way to get one. Matthew Toll, age 25, sent 20-30 law firms his resume and a five-page interview request drafted to resemble a legal filing. You can find a copy of Toll's pitch letter that went to the New Jersey firm Wolff & Samson online at http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/mstoll1.html.
