Debbie ThompsonDebbie Thompson is a strategic marketing consultant who has assisted law firms and businesses nationwide with business development and selling by:

Debbie has extensive marketing and sales experience. She spent 13 years with AT&T in their sales and marketing divisions. She developed and executed sales/marketing programs to drive revenue for AT&T Data, Internet & Wireless Services. She is proficient at identifying opportunities and strategic planning of new business and cross-marketing activities. She has trained the AT&T sales force of 2,000 during the release of major Internet and data product roll-outs. As a sales manager, she cultivated territories while managing AT&T National Accounts and was responsible for winning back lost AT&T accounts that exceeded $25 million in revenue.

She exercised extensive skills in generating new business as her territory included Chicago’s legal district. She has performed cost analysis, prepared and made numerous presentations and organized high level customer strategy sessions. Earlier, as the principal of a marketing consultant company, she was responsible for directing the development, implementation and evaluation of a firm’s overall marketing strategies and ongoing marketing programs.

Other areas of focus include:

Laura KresichLaura Kresich

As the holder of a Masters Degree in Library and Information Science from Dominican University in Chicago, IL. Laura is an expert researcher. She has many years of experience conducting research at law firms such as Mayer Brown, Clausen Miller and Wilson & McIlvaine (now Quarles & Brady). She is considered a "power user" on the Web and online databases, including competitive intelligence sources such as LexisNexis Market Intelligence and Thomson Firm 360.

Laura spent a year spent studying abroad at the Sorbonne in Paris, France, and can read, write and speak French. She has a basic reading comprehension of Italian, and spent two years studying Russian.

She serves as Program Director for the Professional Business Development Institute, Manager of The LawMarketing Listserv, LawMarketing Portal and the LawMarketing Store.
