No One Cares Where You Went To Law School

Posted by Larry Bodine | Aug 14, 2016 | 0 Comments

Please open your law firm's website and take a moment to review your bio.

Does your bio reflect what you want your website visitors to know about you?  Does it tell them what they want to know about you?

Or, is your bio like most attorney bios out there – boring – with information on where you went law school, how many years you've been in practice and other details that no one really cares about.  It's true – no one really cares about where you went to law school.

I came across the diagram on Matt Homann's old Nonbillable Hour website and thought it offered a great, yet simple visual of what a lawyer's bio typically includes and what clients wish were in a lawyer's bio.

Take a look at the image and go back to your website bio. Is it time for an update?

Take a few minutes now to revise post an updated bio that shares what your website visitors will want to know about you.
